This poisition is responsible for coordinating the preparation of the company capital and operating budget for all five sectors. This includes financial planning, forecasting and analysis of the utility’s capacity expansion, capital budgeting and operating plans to ensure the long range competitiveness and financial soundness of the utility. In absence of the VP Financial Services, serving as acting VP for the Financial Services department. Ensuring that all accounting functions are in compliance with generally accepted accounting principles and established GASB/FASB standards. Reviewing monthly financial statements for the monthly Board meeting including balance sheets, improvement and extension reports, income statements, consumption reports, and cost per unit of consumption billed. Preparing review sheets, both monthly and quarterly, as required by the audit recommendations.
